Back From Indonesia

I'm back from Indonesia! Alive, and for the most part, unharmed! I had a wonderful trip. Fun, sun, diving, lots of cheap drinks. What more could I ask for?

I spent nearly all my time on the island of Gili Trawangan SCUBA diving. In the 8 days I was on the island I did 19 dives (bringing my lifetime total up to 54). I saw some great stuff and took a lot of great photos. My personal favorite was the Cuttle Fish. I'd never seen some before. Think of it as a really friendly squid that changes color.

Awesome! I'll post heaps of diving photos in a different post soon enough. Probably right after I get done writing this one.

One thing that really bothered me was Bali. I spent half a day in Kuta doing nothing before my flight. By nothing I mean shopping and drinking some ice tea. But this was perfectly fine. What bothered me was that I made an attempt to see the movie Iron Man in Bali. $2 a ticket for a western movie beats the heck out of the $16 I pay in Japan. The problem I ran into was that the movie was sold out. Now I have to wait 4 months for the movie to show up in Japan. Curse you Iron Man!!!!!
